We had great weather (though with all the excitement of getting stuff together in the morning I forgot my hat, and now have a nice sunburn to show for it). Time…

Tonight in our community group we discussed the question, “What does God require of our calendar?” We talked about what the Bible says about balancing work, family, and rest. Ironically we ran out of time before we could discuss the question of time commitments related to the church. It was an interesting discussion and we surveyed a vast amount of biblical teaching in a short time. I thought it would be helpful to crystallize a couple of key ideas and then to provide some specific principles regarding time management from Scripture. Money

The community group topic this week is “Money.” Yes, that is rather general and vague. Here’s how it will work:
The floor will be open for anyone to bring up any Scripture you have found relating to money/wealth/poverty. I will have my own list just in case, and make sure we hit certain topics, but I want to know what you all can come up with. We’ll take the conversation where it leads us, using Scripture as our basis of truth when we bump into difficult questions.

Nobody submitted any questions to be voted on before Sunday, so we will do something else this week in community group. However, some questions were submitted Sunday and yesterday, so I will include those here for you to vote on.
